Happy Birthday Tony Hawk!

Can you remember what you got for your 9th birthday?

Tony Hawk can. At the age of 9, Tony received his first fibre-glass skateboard. This was the beginning of the future; the start of greatness. However, it wasn't an easy ride for him. The first time he stepped out onto his board he simply looked back at his brother and asked ‘How do I turn?’

Since then he has become a global name, an icon, not only in the skating world, but to all of us who have ever wanted to achieve big at something. Thanks for the inspiration and belief you have given to so many of us, Tony Hawk!
