Skateboarding history - the most legendary skateboarders of all time
There were many successful skateboarders throughout skateboarding history.
Only a few of them remained legends who will live till skateboarding exists. A few of them will always be remembered as long as skateboarding exists.
To become a legend, you needn't only ride a skateboard. You need to put something more, you need to dedicate your life to skateboarding. A place in skateboarding history is not for winners only. It is for the people who left an undeletable trail in the history of this lovely sport.
Skateboarding history - the biggest legends
Christian Hosol
This guy remained known under the nickname "Anti Tony Hawk". As much as Tony was the legend and different in real life, Christian was his rival on the ramp with completely different behavior.
He was less technical than Tony Hawk, but he had more heart - attempting Christ Air or Rocket Air is not an easy task at all, and he was attempting it even two or three times per competition.
Definitively one of the bravest skateboarders in skateboarding history. He remained known as a charisma guy with parallel style. Even today, he has the fans. His style will always be remembered.

His life was a super fast progression, high quality of skateboarding and 100% dedication.

He had a status or the rock star and a skateboarder in 1980s. His tricks were leaving the crowd breathless in every single competition. He was a charismatic and hard-partying man who knew how to enjoy the life. He was an outstanding promoter of this sport.
But he had a dark side. He liked alcohol and drugs. He raped and murdered a young girl and he is prisoned for life in 1992. Despite the tragic end of his career, some of his tricks will never be forgotten.
